Dear Teachers,
Take your field trip budget farther this year, with a full-fledged Farm Experience close to home, right in Gaston County. Give your students the opportunity to explore life on a working farm, learn from true family farmers.

Our Farm Experience field trips include the following:
• Take a Horse Drawn Hay Ride to our Pumpkin Patch
• Find your way through the Millet Maze with Spookley
• Explore the Hay Bale Maze/Ground
• Feed our Barnyard Animal friends
• Blacksmith Demo
• Sheep herding
• Pick your very own Pumpkin
• Farm lesson tailored to your group’s age and/or grade level
• Outdoor Picnic Area
• Play on our playground & Hay Bale Mountain

Planned activities last approximately 2 hours, followed by optional free time to enjoy our picnic facilities.

Planning Details
Admission: $10 per person including all students, teachers, parents and siblings age 3 and up (price includes all activities and a pumpkin for everyone in the group).
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday October 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27th starting at 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 am.

Fridays are our most popular day, so we take requests for groups of 100 or more first.

(Limit: one free teacher per 10 students) Ticket required to enter farm facilities.
